Trusting in the Word of God brings us all confidence and reassurance in the warfare we fight daily. We are called to stand against the enemy in the battles as he uses his different weapons of temptation, condemnation, and fiery darts to try and take our focus off of Christ Jesus and the mission He has laid before us which is the preach the Gospel rightly divided to all nations. When we understand that the warfare is not in the flesh and that we are free in Christ Jesus we learn how to choose not be offended by ones actions and learn to warfare against the spirit that is on that person. Trusting in God’s word gives us the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, which is the only weapon that can be used to destroy the lies of the enemy. As we read and lock away scripture in our hearts and meditate on them daily we start to apply what we have learned and we are then able to see the power of His word living in us and through us which continues to fuel the trust in His word and the faith we have in Jesus Christ. Put on the Full Armor today lacking nothing and stand against all the ways of the evil one!!! Encourage your brother that is kneeling beside you to get back up and stand and let him know that you have his back in the battle!!! Have a wonderful life of trusting on purpose!!!!!
Ephesians 6
The Whole Armor of God
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[c] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
